There are a lot of different bottles, cans, kegs and growlers out there, so we thought it was about time someone put as much thought into the container, as goes into the beer itself. We reject the assumption that a growler can only last one or two days, or that a growler pour must taste any less fresh and delicious than a pint at the pub.

ReVive:

Historically, growlers start going bad after two or three days, and that’s only if you refrigerate them the whole time. With the DrinkFresh CO2 Injection System, you can inject new life into your beer and enjoy it without worrying about counting the hours since your growler was filled. By adding pressurized CO2, Oxygen is forced up and away from your beer. The Schrader valve employed in the DrinkFresh system then allows you to release the displaced O2, creating a virtually oxygen-free environment in your growler. Drink draught-fresh beer when you want to, and fight back against oxidation.

 

ReSeal:

Gone are the days when opening a growler meant drinking until it was empty. Carbon Dioxide is naturally heavier than oxygen, which means by injecting it into your growler, you create a natural seal inside your growler to preserve your beer.

Refilling Is Recycling

Roughly 21 BILLION glass beer bottles are produced every year in the United States alone. Only between 25 and 35% of ALL glass bottles get recycled.
Aluminium cans are recycled more than 58% of the time—however, some 80 BILLION cans are used every year, so they are still piling up.

Every time you get your growler—any growler—cleaned and refilled with more beer, you are recycling. Go ahead: take a bow. Invest in a growler built to last (like, say, a Brew-Tek Growler) and you can send your old glass growler off to be recycled too.
It sure seems a lot more efficient to drink your growler empty and go get it filled again than to buy a six-pack, go through it, and drop it off at your local recycling centre.
